I just began treatment with Dr. Michael Gelb and am confident that he will be successful in treating my TMJ. He really impressed me at my first two visits and he came very highly recommended. My mom was treated for TMJ by his dad and insisted that I only see Dr. Gelb since her results were 100% satisfactory. Another friend sees Dr. Gelb for sleep apnea and also assured me that he has helped her tremendously and thinks that he’s the best. Simply stated, Dr. Gelb is stellar! I have suffered from TMJ disorder for years on end and am currently under his care. I am an Obstructive Sleep Apnea patient and Dr. Gelb literally changed my life, and maybe even saved it. After wearing the custom appliance my snoring has essentially stopped, I wake up refreshed after a good nights sleep and my wife no longer has to wear earplugs every night. Dr. Gelb is kind, compassionate and extraordinarily knowledgeable. I came to him with a jaw that had been in extreme pain for over a month, the result of surgery performed by another dentist. He was terribly concerned about my pain and went to work quickly diagnosing it and treating it. Within 48 hours the pain was over and never returned. His staff created a bite plate that corrected the underlying condition over the following 8 weeks. I cannot recommend Dr. Gelb highly enough. T
